JUincubator’s Hackathon:
The JUincubator Hackathon is a programming marathon, during which renowned academicians, founders of successful startups, technology professionals, and venture capitalists will come together to lead teams of talented students from all over the state, to create mobile and web applications. The teams will develop innovative applications relevant to diverse fields such as societal impact, citizen engagement services and new ways of Ad technologies for the benefit of social good for rural & urban India.
The goal of the JUincubator Hackathon is to promote innovation in science & tech startups, and the development of innovative technology for the social good. This event will provide an opportunity for aspiring entrepreneurs to experience the full cycle of creating a tech startup (sharing and generating ideas, pitching ideas, learning new platforms and programming languages, designing and developing mobile and web applications, and working with a team). Aside from learning top practices in software development, the participants will also get a rare opportunity to be mentored by leaders in both industry and academia. Also, participants will create innovative and solution-based technology for social good, which is becoming an important goal for innovators worldwide, as the field is now viewed as having created revolutionary innovations in many areas.
