Akila Jayaraman has recently joined Essence Delhi team as the Senior Account Director to spearhead the mobile proposition for Essence’s clients in India. Before moving to Essence she was Director Performance Marketing at Madhouse India, where she was responsible for driving the mobile performance marketing practice. Akila has spent over a decade in the mobile domain and handled multiple roles in consumer research, consulting and mobile technology sales in companies like Ericsson Mahindra Comviva etc.
She has been at the forefront of cutting edge consumer research in mobility during her stint with Ericsson and has co authored reports on various consumer trends ranging from emerging apps to the role of privacy in the consumers digital life.
Post graduate in marketing from Pune University, she is an avid mobile tech /start up/ product evangelist and driven by passion of creating new business and market development across the mobility value chain.
