Raman is the founder and CEO of Perfsystems (www.perfsystems.com) with offices in Chennai, India, San Jose, CA, and Singapore is a leading consulting and IT services company, offering a wide Array of solutions, customized for a range of data security, database performance products and Applications for enterprises, in Japan, USA, France, Middle East and Asia Pacific. The company’s co-developed database security and performance products are used by leading enterprise client worldwide.

Mr. Raman has worked for top companies like Oracle, IBM, EMC, Cray Research, AMD, and Siemens etc., in Silicon Valley, USA, for more than 16 years. Raman was also associated with worldwide Transaction Processing Council, and worked on many OLTP and Data warehousing benchmarks .Some of his technical presentations and prototypes in the nineties using Clustered and Parallel architectures, are still popularly hailed as industry landmarks and among world’s firsts.

He has trained technical staffs worldwide and taught part time courses in University of California (Berkeley), Northwestern Polytechnic University, California, etc. He regularly mentors the budding entrepreneurs and presents various technical sessions for the Tie and IACC Members. Raman presented paper on Data Load Performance at the worldwide ICMG Enterprise Architecture Summit at Bangalore this month, and was awarded ‘Speaker Award’.

His recent other presentations are on Cloud Computing at Tiecon Chennai, November 2010, Mobile Computing at IACC (TN), February 2011, Best Practices on Data Warehousing February, 2011, Data Warehouse Technologies in April 2011 in Singapore.
